Always a good lunch followed by a fascinating talk

About Us

The Woodbridge Probus Club is a luncheon club for retired professional and businessmen "over 50".  It has been in existence for over 40 years and its aim is entirely social.  We meet once a month at the Woodbridge Golf Club where you will be made welcome and enjoy getting to know other members. After lunch we enjoy a short talk from visiting speakers on a variety of interesting subjects.  In addition to the monthly lunches with guest speakers there are outings to places of interest planned throughout the year as well as a Ladies lunch in the summer and a Christmas lunch including the ladies in December. The Woodbridge Probus Club always welcomes enquires about membership from retired or semi-retired professional and business gentlemen.

We draw our membership from Woodbridge and the surrounding area: Martlesham, Martlesham Heath, Felixstowe, Wickham Market, Grundisburgh, Melton, Ufford, Bromeswell, Great Bealings, Leiston, Waldringfield, Brandeston, Clopton, Sutton and Ipswich. If you are interested, please contact us.

One of the original founders of the club in 1976, Philip Simper, recorded the history of the club until 2006 and you can read, download or print it here.

Probus Online has a Woodbridge Probus Club entry. You can also find us here.
